May 6th I got my old drive working. In a manner of speaking if you use a loose definition of the word 'work'. It took 3 hours to copy over a little more than a GB of old files. And sometimes the drive I'm copying to... disappears. 
I've been without my art and tools on this drive for a year and I've barely made anything since then. I've recovered my flags and such, but none of my hundreds of vector designs or brushes. The vectors can be rebuilt, they are all hidden with PSD files but the brushes (like my amazing night time city patterns) will need to be remade from scratch.
I hope to be making a lot of new art soon.

It was about a DA user that I banned from this page.. 2 years ago. He was a hyper-active fanboy that commented on my Star Trek Terran Empire art, ships and stations. Oh, you like my art postings? So lots and lots of you have been coming to this page because of the Star Trek Terran Empire ships I have been slapping together for more than a year. But I wonder if any of you have delved deeper into my gallery and seen my first attempt at a Star Trek ship? More than a decade ago, a friend of mine asked me for a favor. There was a contest on Star Trek Online to design the next Enterprise. He played STO, I did not. He also dabbed in 3D but didn't have a lot of time to waste because he was in the Army and had a family to support. So as a favor I took him up on the challenge. This was it.
